On January 19, 2021, H.E. Victor Ţvircun, Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to the State of Qatar held a meeting with Dr. Mohamed Althaf, Regional Director of Lulu Group International.

During the meeting, officials reviewed the relations between the Republic of Moldova and the State of Qatar, mentioning as a priority the economic sphere and the existing potential for collaboration in it. The interlocutors discussed proposals for launching the import into the State of Qatar of the Moldovan products, especially agri-food produce. Thus, the representatives of the Lulu chain, expressed interest in importing from our country the production of fruits, oils, sugar, mutton and others.
